Entry for the 2008 competition has now closed. Results will be announced soon!!
If you can answer yes to all these questions then you are eligible to enter the National Science Competition!
We are looking for all sorts of different projects and activities, so whatever you have done, as long as it is related to science, technology, engineering or maths, we want to hear about it. Research, practical projects, talks, organising new groups, writing about science, posters . . . we want to hear about it ALL. For some examples and a list of subjects we consider to be science, technology, engineering or maths related, see our Example projects page.
If you completed an activity or project as part of a team, you can all enter this competition individually as long as you can answer yes to all the above questions. Each team member will have to write their entry form and summary separately. This is because we are seeking two individual winners. Sorry, there are no team prizes in this competition.
If you completed an activity or project for another competition or scheme, you may be able to enter the same thing into this competition. There are many schemes that we already know about, all of which are eligible for entry into the National Science Competition, a list of which can be read here. If you have taken part in a scheme that is not listed, please email us the details and we'll take a look.
Have a look at our entrant's guide to writing your summary report for more information on what makes a good project for the National Science Competition
This can also be found through on the Guides page.
